Andrew S. Frankel, MD
Dr. Andrew Frankel is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Duke University in 1982. He received his medical degree (M.D.) from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1986.
He completed his Orthopaedic Residency at Thomas Jefferson University in 1992. During his residency, he rotated through the Rothman Institute and A. I. DuPont Institute. He spent an additional 14 month fellowship at the Rothman Institute intensively learning the skills of total hip and total knee replacement surgery.
He has been practicing Orthopaedic Surgery in Chester County since 1993. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is also a member of the Eastern Orthopaedic Association and the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society. He recently became an active member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
Dr. Frankel currently holds Active Attending Staff privileges at Paoli Memorial Hospital . He is also on staff at The Surgery Center of Chester County. He has Courtesy Staff privileges at Chester County Hospital.
